Lose weight fast with HCG!

Losing weight can be difficult. If diet and exercise aren’t getting you the results you need, it’s time to take a second look. A medical weight loss program using HCG may be just the solution you’ve been looking for. Read on to learn more and for more information on HCG, contact Back to Health in Indianapolis, Indiana.

What is HCG?

HCG stands for human chorionic gonadotropin— a hormone in your body that naturally suppresses your appetite and causes you to burn fat. This hormone exists naturally in both men and women in small amounts; however, it is seen in much greater amounts in pregnant women. Why? Historically, food was much more scarce for early humans, and not always guaranteed. In pregnant women, this hormone allows calories to be burned from fat reserves in order to feed the growing fetus when food is scarce. Modern science has finally caught up to being able to utilize the hormones naturally produced in our bodies.

HCG daily injections combined with a low calorie diet (600-800 day) and medical supervision can help you lose an average loss of 1 to 3 pounds of fat loss a day!

Is it safe?

Under the supervision of a knowledgeable doctor and by sticking to a regimen discussed with your healthcare practitioner HCG is safe to use.  HCG is not safe long term due to calorie restriction and reduction of nutrition from food.  You will be medically monitored and limited to a one or two month cycle.  You may continue HCG after a 6-8 week ‘break’.

*Legal Notice and Disclaimer: The United States Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) has not approved Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (“HCG”) for use in weight loss treatment. The use of HCG for weight loss is an “off label” use, which means that it is considered safe when prescribed by and under the guidance of a licensed physician. HCG is FDA-approved to treat health conditions other than weight loss, and has been in existence to do so for over 45 years. Because an individual’s weight loss depends on a number of factors, Options Medical Weight Loss DOES NOT guarantee any specific weight loss result.

Is it right for me?

While HCG has helped countless people lose weight quickly, it is important do discuss your medical history and weight loss goals with your healthcare provider to learn whether HCG is right for you. Here at Back to Health, we believe it is important to work with the whole person to understand the best course of action.

How do I begin the HCG Diet?

  1. Meet with our medical practitioners for a consult to review:

    • Past medical history, any health concerns, medications, supplements and current diet.
  2. Blood Labs

Phases of HCG Diet

Phase 1: Preparing Your Body for Success through Detox (Not required but recommended)

If you currently eat a high carb, high fat, sugary diet, it is recommended that you prepare the body for success. For a period of  not less than 2 weeks, patients should try to reduce carbs (breads, pastas, fried foods, sugar and dairy).  Daily exercise and activity is also incorporated in the program.  This phase is important for success due to the requirement to stop eating fatty, carb-loaded foods during the HCG diet.  If you need nutritional/diet support, please setup an appointment for a suggested diet and supplement pre-program outline.  We will setup a sample diet with meal plans and foods for a 15-30 day period.

Phase 2: HCG Diet

HCG is used, along with a strict low calorie diet of specific foods (all found in grocery stores), for a period of 23 or 40 days. The length of Phase 2 depends on the patient’s specific weight loss goals.

* It is important to note that all of the HCG dispensed from our office is ordered for each individual with a RX from a US Pharmacy.

Phase 3: Maintenance

Complete with nutritional counseling with our medical staff, this phase focuses on eating and lifestyle habits for a lifetime.

Semaglutide

What is it?

Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist.  It works by mimicking a hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) that targets areas of the brain that regulate appetite and food intake.

Semaglutide is recommended for chronic weight management in adults with obesity or overweight with at least one weight-related condition (such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol).

It is very effective when eating a reduced calorie diet and add physical activity.

How does Semaglutide work?

Semaglutide mimics a hormone that targets areas of the brain involved in regulating appetite and food intake. This can help you eat less, which can lead to weight loss.

How is it taken?

The medication is injected one time weekly into the stomach (fat) area with a very small pen or insulin needle.  The dose is increased gradually over weeks to reduce unwanted gastrointestinal side effects.

How much weight can I expect to loss?

In a random clinical trial conduct by Novo Nordisk Inc, makers of Wegovy® (semaglutide)

  • 83% of adults lost 5% or more weight, compared to 31% taking placebo
    • 66% of adults lost 10% or more weight, compared to 12% taking placebo
    • 48% of adults lost 15% or more weight, compared to 5% taking placebo

About 1 in 3 adults lost 46 lb or more (20% weight loss). This was calculated from ~232 lb starting weight.*

What are the side effects?

The most common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal (stomach) pain, headache, fatigue, dyspepsia (indigestion), dizziness, abdominal distension, eructation (belching), hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) in patients with type 2 diabetes, flatulence (gas buildup), gastroenteritis (an intestinal infection) and gastroesophageal reflux disease (a type of digestive disorder).

Who should not take Semaglutide?

Anyone with a personal or family history of thyroid cancer, especially medullary thyroid cancer; Multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2; other DM medications, especially insulin and sulfonylureas (glyburide, etc.); history of pancreatitis; history of gall bladder disease; kidney disease; tachycardia; and retinopathy.

Before using Semaglutide, you will be screened for the following:

  • have or have had problems with your pancreas or kidneys.
  • have type 2 diabetes and a history of diabetic retinopathy.
  • have or have had depression, suicidal thoughts, or mental health issues.
  • are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
  • are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed.

Weight loss Peptides:

Tesofensine

Tesofensine is a serotonin-noradrenaline- dopamine reuptake inhibitor, which is being developed for the treatment of obesity. Tesofensine was originally being investigated for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease. However, significant weight loss was consistently reported as an adverse event in the original studies.

How does Tesofensine work?

Tesofensine, primarily, acts as an appetite suppressant and could increase resting energy expenditure. Phase II trials for the treatment of obesity with Tesofensine have been completed. On average, its 6 month weight loss results from a phase 2b clinical trial resulted in a weight loss of around 25 pounds.

AOD-9604

Anti-Obesity Drug

This FDA-approved peptide therapy has the unique ability to target areas of the body where there are abnormally high levels of fat, and works wonders when combined with exercising and consuming a lower calorie diet. The amino acids contained in AOD 9604 are the same as those found in the naturally occurring growth hormone (hGH).

Peptide AOD 9604 has two primary methods of regulating body fat:

  • Stimulate lipolysis– the breakdown of fats and lipids via the hydrolyzation of triglycerides into glycerol and fatty acids.
  • Inhibit lipogenesis– the metabolic process that forms fat (even from nonfat foods), which increases the amount of triglycerides in the body.

Furthermore, the amino acids contained in AOD 9604 are the same as those found in the naturally occurring growth hormone (hGH).

AOD-9604 (synthetic) similar to human growth hormone (hGH) developed to combat obesity and help people trying to lose weight. AOD-9604 stimulates the pituitary gland like hGH and other growth hormones to speed up the metabolism and increase weight loss in less time than just diet and exercise alone. Other positive effects include promoting the repair of bone and cartilage in cases of osteoarthritis.

Why would I want to use AOD-9604?

  • Body fat reduction
  • Imitates the way natural growth hormone regulates fat metabolism.
  • Prohibits the transformation of non-fatty foods into body fat.
  • Mobilizes stored energy during fasting or exercise.
  • Does not affect blood sugar.
  • Reduces abdominal fat.
  • Possesses regenerative properties associated with growth hormone.
  • Treatment in osteoarthritis, hypercholesterolemia, bone, and cartilage repair – results favored when combined with BPC-157

What you need to know:

  • AOD-9604 has no known risks associated with use.

Available as: Daily subcutaneous (into belly fat) injection, or troche (chewable)

Mitochondrial support/weight/energy /fat loss

MOTs-C

MOTS-c is a mitochondrial-derived peptide that is primarily used for fat loss but has also shown efficacy for muscle building, and improved physical performance.

Indications:

  • Decreases insulin resistance.
  • Better transport of sugars to muscle cells
  • Fat loss
  • More energy
  • Greater resistance to metabolic stress
  • Improved health and lifespan

Kisspeptin for weight loss

Kisspeptin is a polypeptide hormone produced in the hypothalamus (middle) region of the brain that is responsible for communication between the body’s cells responsible for activating essential hormones in the pituitary gland.

Kisspeptin works the same way as the HCG Diet (human chorionic gonadotropin diet). The HPG (hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal) promotes weight loss in two specific ways:

  • Boosting luteinizing hormone (LH) levels and adiponectin levels, both of which impact the metabolic process to promote weight loss. It also contributes to increasing adiponectin levels, another important weight loss factor that also successfully suppresses appetite.
  • Break down body fat; resulting ‘inch loss’.
  • Protects your body’s good fat and helps prevent muscle wasting (loss) and sagging skin while losing weight.

Benefits of Kisspeptin Treatments for Weight Loss

  • Accelerates fat and weight loss process.
  • Supports hormone production.
  • Decreased irritability and weakness throughout treatments.
  • Weight loss without affecting appetite.
  • Improves sleep.
